Pre Purchase Inspection, $225, 122 Points
A pre purchase inspection is a check of a used vehicle by a mechanic who works for you, not the seller, before you pay for it. Ours comes to the car where it sits, on a dealer lot or in a seller's driveway, and works through 122 points. The tech scans every computer module for codes, drives the car and photographs anything that matters. It costs $225 for most cars, pickups and SUVs, in any of the 50 states. You get the report and photos the same day, so you can buy, ask for a lower price or walk away. The report shows the car on that day. It is not a warranty.
Below is the same 122 point checklist our techs fill in on every used car inspection.
